PASTORAL CARE NOTE

Dear Parents & Students,

I hope you all enjoy life.

As we have come to the end of Term 1, I would like to share some of the school experiences with you.

A couple of weeks ago, we went to Melbourne for the soccer tournament. From my observations, the students really enjoyed this sporting opportunity. They were earnestly trying to come in first or second place but this was not to be. It was still a fantastic challenge to compete with other sister schools of Sirius College. It took around two hours to get to Melbourne and I assume that they were a little tired when playing with the opposite teams. However, I still say that they really worked hard together to cooperate and work as a team.

One of the highlights of the day was when Raihaan, from Grade 5, scored a sensational goal in the second match and from thereon, this goal was a motivating force for our team. It kept the boys focused during the competition and encouraged them to keep steadfast and enjoy playing.

Additionally, they had a great weekend with each other as they had a lot of fun during the matches, and on the journey to/from Melbourne.

In recognition of their hard work, the grade five boys were rewarded with some gifts that were presented to them by the school principal, Mr. Adem Engin.

Great thanks to the families who trusted and supported us for this day.

Best wishes to all and I trust that you are going to rest very well and come back to school fresher and stronger.

Have an exciting and fantastic holiday :)
